What is the Notice of Crossing?

The notice of crossing consists of an electronic document linked to the customs documentation that will be presented when clearing the goods. The new scheme replaces the Operation Document for Customs Clearance (DODA) that was previously provided by the carrier at the time of transit through customs. It came into effect on August 1st, 2022. The system seeks to improve infrastructure and modernize and streamline the clearance of goods.
