How long does it usually take to cross the border for cargo trucks?

The border process for cargo trucks takes time, and how much, will vary based on demand, which in turn goes up or down depending on the time of year, week of the month, day of the week and even hours of operation. If there is not a lot of movement on the bridge, the crossing can take 30 mins, but it is not uncommon to encounter lines of up to 10 hours to cross during peak season. This is for a truck crossing without customs inspection; If inspected, the process can take an additional 8 hours.
