Nuvocargo Launches: Carrier Billing Platform, Billing Made Simpler

Carrier Billing Platform

Being a successful carrier in 2022 is not an easy task, especially in a traditional industry, where most of the processes on a daily basis are fragmented and outdated. That's why we are excited to announce the launch of our latest product: the Carrier Billing Platform, billing made simpler.

Our vision for carriers is based on offering them an all-in-one platform to drive their business to success by providing innovative solutions through technology-enabled products and processes. More than a supplier, we seek to be a trusted partner to help them:

  • Save time to focus on the most relevant tasks for their business.
  • Make the most of their assets.
  • Get paid on time by offering financial opportunities and making the invoicing process smoother.
  • Enable great communication to manage their loads and needs.
  • Access relevant and exclusive benefits for being part of our network
What’s the problem and how do we solve it?

Currently, a carrier has to check dozens of emails a day, about loads, invoicing, security, etc. Making it difficult to maintain a balance and track between operational and administrative tasks, as well as keeping efficient communications. In order to solve one of the biggest pain points for our carriers, getting paid super fast, we developed this new platform, which will also make the billing process more transparent. In addition to visualizing all loads in one place, you will be able to:

  • Upload invoices, additionals, and proofs of delivery
  • Consult all the necessary information to prepare the invoice and the Supplement to the Bill of Lading to comply with the right tax regulations in Mexico and the US
  • Access QuickPay (payment in 48 hours) in just one click
  • Check loads with missing proof of delivery
  • Look for invoices pending and paid
  • And more…

"Giving (carriers) access to all this fragmented information in a centralized, easy-to-use platform will not only make them more efficient and organized but will allow them to reduce manual work (an estimated 1 to 3 hours) and focus on the key elements to grow their business," said Anaid Chacon, Head of Product at Nuvocargo.

QuickPay and the current carrier offering

We understand how complex it is to have the cash flow to cover the expenses related to each shipment, especially with today's supply chain challenges, and the importance of getting paid fast and on time. Therefore, the billing platform joins QuickPay, our financial service launched in December, which allows carriers to receive their payments in less than 48 hours for a competitive rate over the invoice value.

Our current carrier offering is focused on financial solutions, ensuring payment, allowing them to manage cash in a way that makes them operationally more efficient, through faster payments, simpler processes, saving time and effort, and securing the necessary capital to focus on continuous growth.

"Along with QuickPay, carriers will be able to receive their payments in 48 hours or less for the loads they choose and also have full visibility and administrative control of all their movements with us in one place," said Luis García, Head of Marketplace.
