At Nuvocargo, we are committed to creating a workplace culture that empowers all team members to reach their full potential. In this section, we will discuss some of the ways we are working to build a company where everyone can succeed and support women.

  • At Nuvocargo, we understand the importance of nurturing and developing our talented team members to achieve their full potential. That's why we have implemented Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to coach and mentor all employees. Our approach involves creating competency ladders for each job role, based on 5 competences and 4 mastery levels, allowing us to build a clear career path for each individual. We understand that ongoing communication is key to success, which is why we hold regular one-on-one sessions with team members, utilizing quarterly, monthly, and weekly meetings to provide guidance and support. Through our IDP program, we are committed to improving the skills and knowledge of our team members, guiding them towards their professional goals and ensuring their long-term success.
  • In order to cultivate a more inclusive and welcoming workplace culture, we have implemented a series of diversity and inclusion initiatives. As a part of this effort, we have established a comprehensive interview process that utilizes a Likert scale to evaluate the competencies required for each role. This process includes clearly defined definitions for each rating, enabling us to evaluate candidates based solely on their relevant experience, and eliminate any potential biases from our evaluation process. By utilizing this rigorous and objective approach, we are committed to creating a fair and equitable environment that values diversity and promotes inclusivity at all levels of our organization.
  • In today's rapidly evolving logistics industry, the promotion of diverse perspectives and experiences has become a crucial advocacy and outreach effort. At our organization, we are committed to championing this cause and are proud to share that Anaid Chacon, our esteemed Head of Product, was recently named a finalist for Product50 in the category of Best Digital-Native Product Leader. Nuvocargo has supported her participation in forums such as AWESOME Symposium, Freight Waves, Nazca, & Mas Producto.
